The September Alzheimer’s Society Memory Walks will be taking place next month in North Yorkshire and across the country to raise money for research, care and support and to bring us closer to a world without dementia.

People of all ages, families and their dogs are encouraged to participate in their local Memory Walk to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society. It is a great cause and can change the lives of people living with dementia.

In North Yorkshire, local events will be held in Leeds and York. More information about the local walks and how to get involved is available here.

We also work closely with groups such as Alzheimer’s Society to raise awareness of dementia and also ensure that families are aware of our local, personalised dementia care service including hourly care, 24-hour live-in care and respite care. This specialist service has been developed using the Contented Dementia Trust’s SPECAL method and is available across Harrogate, Ripon, Wetherby, Leeds (hourly care) and Yorkshire (live-in care).
