Carefound Home Care’s P.L.A.T.O awards involve staff from the whole company voting on the best examples of colleagues demonstrating it’s company values – Personalised, Local, Accountable, Together and Outstanding.

The award was launched this summer and happens every 3 months, with the winner not only receiving company-wide recognition but also £100 in gift vouchers.

Zoe Kadiyo and Massi Garshasebi, who are live-in carers at Carefound Home Care, have been announced as the first P.L.A.T.O award winners for how they have worked together to give continuity of care and better outcomes to their live-in care couple package involving complex care and end-of-life care.

Zoe Kadiyo, live-in carer at Carefound Home Care, said:

“Winning the P.L.A.T.O award was amazing. Sometimes as carers we do not realise just how much we are contributing to an individual’s life. Being recognised for the hard work and dedication we put into making our clients lives easier was an honour. Thank you for the nomination and to everyone who voted. We were both so happy to win.”

Massi Garshasebi, live-in carer at Carefound Home Care, said:

“I felt ecstatic at winning such an award as it represents appreciation and being noticed and recognised at such a complex live-in care package, it simply takes away all the tiredness!”

Staff at Carefound Home Care are continuously recognised for demonstrating their company values and these first winners of the P.L.A.T.O award were voted ahead of a number of other fantastic examples of outstanding care and support.

Oliver Stirk, Managing Director at Carefound Home Care, said:

“It was an honour to present Zoe and Massi with our first P.L.A.T.O awards and they can feel very proud of the recognition they have received from all of their colleagues.”

“Working together and celebrating what we do as hourly care assistants, live-in carers and care management teams is hugely important at Carefound Home Care and it’s truly amazing to see the endless examples of outstanding care from across our company.”
