Families and health professionals from the NHS were interested to learn more about the home careand dementia care support provided by the team in North Yorkshire. The team found it particularly helpful to chat though their specialist live-in care service and how they support individuals and families experiencing dementia using the Contented Dementia Trust’s SPECAL method. People visiting the stand were also able to learn more about local charitable organisations supported by Carefound Home Care such as Dementia Forward and Wethery in Support of the Elderly (“WiSE”).
