Carefound Home Care proudly sponsors Stockport Cricket Club’s first ladies hardball team

Carefound Home Care in Wilmslow has sponsored Stockport Cricket Club Ladies XI team kit. Their support was prominently displayed during the team’s debut match against Lindow Womens 1st XI on Sunday, 2nd June 2024.
This marked an undeniable milestone as the club hosted its first-ever ladies hardball cricket match. Carefound Home Care take great pride in being sponsors and playing a part in this historic moment for the club.
Stockport Cricket Club has been established since 1855 and is one of the largest clubs in the borough and is right at the heart of the local community.
Sarah Vickers, who is Recruitment & Community Manager at Carefound Home Care in Wilmslow, and captain of the Stockport CC Ladies XI team, said:
“It was great to get the season started and play such a strong first game. It was a really special game for us as it was the first ladies hardball game to be played at Stockport Cricket Club and we are so grateful to Carefound Home Care in Wilmslow for sponsoring the ladies shirts this year.”
“After I spent a year of planning, training and recruiting the team, it made it extra special for me to have the support from the company by helping us get our own tailored kit due to the sponsorship. Roll on the rest of the season!”
