Friday, 24th December 2021
Carefound Home Care in Harrogate who support older people to live in their own homes were delighted to support Dementia Forward’s last coffee morning of the year, Mince Pies & Memories.

Dementia Forward are a local charity supporting people living with dementia and those who care for them in North Yorkshire. They regularly hold coffee mornings to enable local people affected by dementia to share memories and raise funds.
The Harrogate team from Carefound Home Care had the pleasure of supporting this year’s festive coffee morning aptly named Mince Pies & Memories. Carefound Home Care provided the mince pies and Christmas cake, and also provided chocolates and a Christmas hamper gift for the raffle. The event raised £160 in total to go towards the local charity and the amazing support it provides to local families.
Carol Sherwhood, Recruitment & Community Manager at Carefound Home Care in Harrogate, said:
“It was a beautiful morning at George Armitage House near Harrogate – being able to gather together to enjoy the Christmas festivities and to see the joy on everyone’s faces after the last year was priceless.”
