Members of the Carefound Home Care team in Yorkshire have recently been awarded Appreciation Awards for going the extra mile in supporting their elderly clients at home.

Congratulations to our Team Members

Tina Langshaw (top left) is a Senior Home Carer in our Harrogate team and has been with us since 2014. She provided extra oversight and support to our team over Christmas and New Year in helping manage a complex situation for a client living with dementia. A Macmillan Palliative Care Nurse recently called to report “what an amazing carer Tina is.”

Georgia Robson (top right) is a member of our Ripon hourly care team and joined us in Summer 2017. Georgia has demonstrated excellent flexibility and maturity in supporting our hourly care and live-in care teams in Yorkshire, and has shown brilliant examples of putting the training she has received into practice, particularly with clients living with dementia. An elderly couple supported by Georgia recently commented: “We really enjoy Georgia visiting, she is great at her job and nothing is too much trouble. She is amazing for her age and we really enjoy having her.”

Marzena Khella (bottom left) is a member of our Ripon hourly care team and has been congratulated for the flexibility she provided to ensure continuity of care was maintained to her clients over the Christmas period. Marzena joined Carefound Home Care in Summer 2016. A client helped by Marzena recently called to say: “I am very grateful for Marzena’s help and all her hard work over the past few months.”

Lynda McWhinnie (bottom right) has been part of our Wetherby hourly care team since Spring 2016 and has been thanked for various examples of going the extra mile in supporting her elderly clients recently, including over the festive period. The daughter of a client Lynda has supported rang to say: “Thank you so much to Lynda for her hard work and help with Mum. The difference between last year and this year for Mum is much more positive and this is a lot to do with the continuity and standard of care provided.”

Celebrating Outstanding Contributions

At Carefound Home Care we place great importance on celebrating the achievements of our team, including where staff members go above and beyond in the care and support they provide to elderly people in the community. Our Appreciation Awards help formally recognise such outstanding contributions with staff receiving both a certificate and gift vouchers as a gesture of appreciation.
