Elderly clients and staff members of Yorkshire’s highest rated home care company, Carefound Home Care, have been delivered over 100 Christmas gifts, mince pies and cards this week.
The team at Carefound Home Care have spent December trying to spread Christmas joy and celebrations across staff and the families they support in the Harrogate, Ripon, Wetherby and Leeds area of Yorkshire. As well as receiving gifts themselves, the company’s home carers have taken the time to take Christmas cards and mince pies to their clients and celebrate the festive period with them.
Oliver Stirk, Director at Carefound Home Care, commented:
“A key part of the care our home carers provide is developing genuine relationships with the clients and families they support. As is the case every year, our team love to take this opportunity to deliver cards and mice pies to their clients and spend time celebrating Christmas with them.”
“Christmas can be a difficult time for older people, particularly those living with complex health conditions such as dementia, and it is vital that we all make the effort to fight issues such as loneliness and isolation and ensure that people can enojy the festive period. It is always a huge pleasure to be able to spend those extra special moments with the families we support.”
