Dementia Forward Christmas coffee morning

Dementia Forward is a local charity supporting people with dementia and those who care for them in North Yorkshire. On 9th December they held a special Christmas coffee morning at George Armitage House in Burton Leonard which the team from Carefound Home Care in Harrogate were delighted to support.

“What a fabulous festive coffee morning at George Armitage House in Burton Leonard. It’s always wonderful to support Dementia Forward and this event was particularly special.”

“The fantastic children from Burton Leonard Primary School came and sang Christmas carols and there was also a stall with beautiful knitted crafts for sale. Amazingly, the knitted blankets for sale were made up squares which had been sewn together, each of which had been made by people living with dementia during the pandemic.

“A big thank you and happy Christmas from our team at Carefound Home Care.”
