Easter Treats from Carefound Home Care in North Yorkshire
Tuesday, 11th April 2017
Nearly one hundred chocolate Easter Eggs are making their way across North Yorkshire this week thanks to a local provider of personalised home care services to elderly people.
The team at Carefound Home Care in Harrogate have been delivering Easter treats to their elderly clients in North Yorkshire, taking the opportunity to celebrate the event with them and their families.
Staff of the award winning company are also receiving Easter gifts in recognition of the fantastic work they do in providing outstanding levels of care to their elderly clients, enabling them to continue to live at home surrounded by the things and people they love.
Lorna Dawber, Home Care Manager for Carefound Home Care in Yorkshire, commented:
“Every year we love to take the opportunity to celebrate special events with the clients we care for, their families and our staff, and Easter is a great example of this.”
“Companionship, trust and building relationships are important parts of the home care support we provide to elderly people in Yorkshire and enjoying special times of the year like Easter together is key to this.”
“We must also remember that some elderly people live alone and may not have family nearby, so efforts such as this play a major role in combating issues like loneliness, or even brightening the day of somebody living with a condition such as dementia.”
Carefound Home Care provide tailored live-in care and hourly home care services to elderly people including anything from basic domestic support, companionship, medication help, through to care for complex conditions such as dementia and Parkinson’s. They are the only elderly home care provider rated “Outstanding” by the Care Quality Commission in Yorkshire.
