Eggs-tra special Easter deliveries from Harrogate care company

Elderly people in Harrogate, Ripon and Wetherby have received a special delivery of Easter treats from local care company Carefound Home Care.

The Harrogate care provider’s team spent the week leading up to Easter delivering over 95 Easter eggs to their elderly clients and carers across the local community.

Lorna Miles, Registered Branch Manager of Carefound Home Care in Harrogate, said:

“We know that loneliness and isolation has increased amongst older people in North Yorkshire during the coronavirus pandemic and it’s really important to use celebrations such as Easter to bring a smile to people’s faces.”

“It has been lovely to deliver treats and take a moment to celebrate with our clients this Easter and also to say thank you to our incredible care teams who continue to work tirelessly to ensure the wellbeing and safety of their clients.”

Mrs Mason, a client of Carefound Home Care who lives in Ripon, said:
