The event was a huge success and was aimed at raising both money and awareness so that the organisation can continue to support local people affected by dementia. The event was sponsored by a range of local organisations including Ripon Racecourse, Ripon Interiors, Stray FM, Boroughbridge Lions, Rotary Club of Ripon, Harrrogate Waitrose and Ripon Sainsburys, Emblazon and Ripon Grammar School Brass Band Ensemble and Dementia Forward Volunteers.
The Carefound Home Care team was amongst hundreds of other Santa’s who enjoyed a ‘Zumba warm-up’ followed by a 3km jog around the racecourse grounds. It was a great morning for a great cause and enjoyed by all – children and pets included.
