Thursday, 04th March 2021
Tatton MP Esther McVey has recognised the work of Carefound Home Care in the rapid roll out of Covid-19 vaccinations for their clients and staff.
Based in Wilmslow, Carefound Home Care supports older people to live safely at home with hourly visiting care in Altrincham, Knutsford, Macclesfield and Wilmslow and 24-our live-in care across Cheshire.
Alongside the amazing NHS staff and volunteers delivering the Covid-19 vaccination programme, their local team have been working hard to support their clients and staff to receive their vaccine. As a result, 100% of their clients and over 91% of their staff in Cheshire have now been vaccinated or have an appointment booked.
Esther McVey, Member of Parliament for Tatton, said:
“I am delighted all clients of Carefound Home Care have had at least one dose of the vaccine and that the company are on track for vaccinating all its staff.”
“I know from meeting with staff at the organisation they are committed to delivering first class care across Tatton and Cheshire so it came as no surprise to hear they are doing so well in protecting their staff and clients.”
“The vaccine programme is the way out of this pandemic and it is progressing at speed and I hope that continues so we can see our loved ones once more.”
Mrs Groom, a client of Carefound Home Care who lives in Wilmslow, said:
“I’m so glad I have had my vaccine as it means I know I can see people.”
“I am looking forward to having my second one so when lockdown ends, I will be able to go out again and feel safe.”
Corinne Worswick, a professional carer at Carefound Home Care in Wilmslow, said:
“I feel safe having my vaccine and knowing I am protecting my family, colleagues and most importantly my clients.”
“It makes me feel I am doing something important.”
