Festive Gifts and Cheer for Local Elderly People

Elderly people in Harrogate, Ripon, Wetherby and North Leeds are receiving extra gifts this Christmas as the team from Carefound Home Care deliver dozens of mince pies and Christmas cards, together with plenty of festive cheer.

Research by Age UK shows that over 2 million people in the UK are worried about not being able to get out and about as much during the winter months because of shorter, darker days and poor weather conditions. Furthermore, despite the festive season being a time for celebration, there are nearly 400,000 elderly people worried about being alone this Christmas.
