Harrogate-based elderly home care provider, Carefound Home Care, has received its second letter this year from the House of Commons.

Andrew Jones, Member of Parliament for Harrogate and Knaresborough, has written to congratulate Tina Langshaw, a Senior Home Carer at Carefound Home Care, on having been named ‘Home Care Worker of the Year‘ at the Yorkshire regional finals of the Great British Care Awards.

Andrew Jones MP said:

“Being named the best at what you do in the region is quite an achievement and one of which I’m sure you are proud. You have certainly built up quite a rapport since starting at Carefound Home Care in 2014 including a high standard for others to follow and a glowing reputation.”

Oliver Stirk, Director at Carefound Home Care, commented:

“Tina Langshaw is a great example of the quality of professionals who make up our home care team in Yorkshire. She thoroughly deserves both the recognition she has received at the Great British Care Awards and the kind letter she has received from Andrew Jones MP, who we know takes great interest in health and social care services across his Harrogate and Knaresborough constituency.”

“We are delighted for Tina and for our entire team having also become the only home care service in Yorkshire to be rated outstanding by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). We look forward to continuing on our quest of improving the lives of elderly people and their families in the Harrogate and Knaresborough area by offering hourly home care and live-in care service of the highest quality, which are outcome and relationship driven rather than simply task-based.”
