Harrogate Carer Attends British Care Awards Judging Day

Tina Langshaw of Carefound Home Care has attended a judging day in Birmingham for the Great British Care Awards as the selection process for the national winners of the prestigious care awards takes place.

Tina has worked with the Harrogate, Ripon and Wetherby team at Carefound Home Care for 2 years and was recently made a Senior Home Carer at the company to help lead the outstanding rated hourly home care and live-in care services delivered to elderly people in Yorkshire. Last year Tina was announced as the winner of the ‘Home Care Worker Award‘ in the Great Yorkshire & Humber Care Awards which meant she would go on to the national finals in Birmingham.

The judges commented:

“Tina personifies great home care. With a happy, smiley face, her clients are at the heart of everything she does. She puts training into practice and shares best practice with families and colleagues. In her words ‘a little kindness increased joy and wellbeing’.”

The national winners of the Great British Care Awards will be announced at a Gala Evening taking place at The ICC in Birmingham on Friday, 20th May 2016.
