Local Care Professional Recognised at Great Yorkshire & Humber Care Awards

Kaylie Bain of Carefound Home Care in Harrogate has won the Home Care Newcomer Award at the 2019 Great British Care Awards regional finals.
On Friday, 22nd November over 550 people attended a glittering awards ceremony at The National Railway Museum in York, for the Great Yorkshire & Humber Care Awards, where the very best in social care were celebrated.
Kaylie Bain is a member of the Carefound Home Care team in Harrogate and was delighted to win the Home Care Newcomer Award.
The judges said:
“Kaylie goes above and beyond to make a real difference to the lives of her clients. Caring, dedicated and a passionate advocate, Kaylie is an asset to her company and indeed the sector as a whole.”
The Great Yorkshire & Humber Care Awards are part of a series of regional awards celebrating excellence across the home care and care home sectors with the winners going on to the national Great British Care Awards at Birmingham’s ICC on 20th March 2020.
Sector support for the event includes Care England, The Department of Health, The National Care Forum, The Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE) and the Alzheimer’s Society, as well as local authorities and other commercial organisations.
