Live-in home care in Nottinghamshire
The cost of live-in care is similar to that of a residential care home or nursing home in Nottinghamshire, however it enables elderly people to retain the security and familiarity of their own home. Our clients are supported by two trained live-in carers who typically rotate on a one week on / off basis, ensuring that you are able to build relationships and understanding. Our live-in carers are fully supported and monitored by our local care management team, which includes weekly support visits to ensure the care package is working well and continuously improving the well-being of our clients. Live-in care is available as a long-term service or on a short-term respite basis to provide a break to a carer or to enable an older person to get used to the support.

Local, qualified home carers in Nottinghamshire
Our home care services are managed from our local office which is based in West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire. This ensures that we are able to maintain exceptional levels of communication with and support for our carers, our clients and their families. It also enables us to meet the needs of our clients should they change over time through effective communication and regular reviews, thereby maximising their well-being and independence to the greatest extent possible.
We place a huge emphasis on recruiting the right people into our team, all of whom undergo a comprehensive recruitment and selection process, including interviews, reference checks and an Enhanced Criminal Record Check from the Disclosure and Barring Service. Our carers also carry out extensive induction training which includes specialist training such as medication management, dementia care and Alzheimer’s care through our collaboration with the Contented Dementia Trust, and Parkinson’s care through our work with Parkinson’s UK. We do not use agency staff – we fully employ all of our staff and take responsibility for supporting them and the quality of the care they deliver. They are also carefully matched to clients and our local care management team are on-hand to ensure that you are happy with our care service and that the care is meeting your needs.
