Ivana Weeden is a member of Carefound Home Care’s hourly visiting care team in Harrogate and joined the company in 2012. Prior to this, Ivi had worked as a registered nurse in Czech Republic and had been a senior carer at a home care service and residential care home in Harrogate. She has achieved her Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care and has shown a particular interest in supporting elderly clients living with dementia.
In being recognised for her first 5 years with Carefound Home Care, Ivi has been awarded a Certificate of Recognition and the option of an extra day’s paid holiday or £100 in gift vouchers.
“During my 5 years working at Carefound Home Care I have met wonderful, naturally caring colleagues, some of which have become my close friends. I support many lovely clients who have taught me that everyone is unique and an individual approach is the best way to support them. I also cannot forget my colleagues who support us in the office who are always friendly, supportive and encouraging at all times.”
Lorna Dawber, Home Care Manager for Carefound Home Care in Harrogate, said:
“We are very proud of Ivi. She has provided an outstanding service over the last 5 years, most of this time as a Senior Home Carer, remaining professional yet approachable at all times. Ivi is always proactive in her work, enabling her clients to be as independent as they can to remain in their own homes, supporting their families as well as other members of her team. She is full of vitality and fresh ideas, and always helps bring ‘care’ into Carefound Home Care.”
