Parkinson’s Awareness Week 2015 – #upyourfriendly

Every year specialist charity, Parkinson’s UK, holds an annual focus week to raise awareness of Parkinson’s Disease across the country. This year the focus of the campaign is a light-hearted challenge to the public to do something friendly in order to benefit society as a whole, and particularly people with Parkinson’s – ‘Up Your Friendly’.

Parkinson’s symptoms can make simple everyday tasks a real struggle – a helping hand or friendly word can brighten up anyone’s day, but for the 127,000 people with Parkinson’s in the UK being patient and kind can mean much more.
