Monday, 01st March 2021

Ruth Edwards MP has recognised the rapid roll out of Covid-19 vaccinations at Carefound Home Care in West Bridgford.

Carefound Home Care in West Bridgford provides hourly visiting care to local older people in their own homes and also full-time live-in care across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

Since the Covid-19 vaccine roll out began their local team has made an extra effort to support their staff and elderly clients to have their vaccine. As a result, over 90% of their staff and 100% of their clients have now been vaccinated in Nottinghamshire.

Sarah Richards, Registered Branch Manager at Carefound Home Care in West Bridgford, said:

“Our team’s hard work, the one-to-one guidance we have provided and the fact that we’re a locally managed service have all been key to supporting our roll out of Covid-19 vaccinations.”

“However, this would not have been possible without the amazing NHS staff and volunteers delivering the national vaccination programme and we want to say a massive thank you to them.”

Ruth Edwards, Member of Parliament for Rushcliffe, said:

“It’s great news that 90% of Carefound Home Care’s staff and 100% of their clients have been vaccinated.”

“I would like to thank everyone at Carefound Home Care for the fantastic work they are doing and the wonderful NHS team and volunteers working so hard across Nottinghamshire to get everyone vaccinated.”

“I would encourage everyone to get the vaccine when it’s their turn to protect themselves, their family and their community.”

Hannah Flynn, a professional carer at Carefound Home Care in West Bridgford, said:

“Having had my Covid-19 vaccination, I feel proud that I am able to do my part in helping protect others as well as myself, and participating towards the step of normality for everyone.”
