Wednesday, 07th October 2020

MP for Rushcliffe Ruth Edwards has officially opened the West Bridgford branch of Carefound Home Care as it begins helping older people in Nottinghamshire to remain safe in the comfort of their own homes.

Carefound Home Care is one of the UK’s highest rated home care providers with their existing offices in Cheshire and Yorkshire both rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Their highly personalised home care service is based around being locally managed and their new West Bridgford office provides hourly visiting care in West Bridgford, Keyworth, Beeston, Radcliffe on Trent and Arnold and 24-hour live-in care across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire.

Ruth Edwards MP cut the ribbon at the launch and heard about the importance of attracting, training and locally supporting staff and how technology and data is used to enhance the Carefound Home Care service. She also discussed the impact of coronavirus and how older people can live safely in their own homes, away from communal settings such as residential care homes or hospitals.

Oliver Stirk, Managing Director of Carefound Home Care, said:

“We were delighted to welcome Ruth Edwards MP at the launch of our new West Bridgford office and discuss how our home care service will benefit older people in Rushcliffe and the wider Nottinghamshire area.”

“Many families have already contacted us about the care at home we provide which can involve anything from basic domestic help, companionship, personal care through to specialist support for complex conditions such as dementia or Parkinson’s.”

“We’ve also been busy training new professional carers in Nottinghamshire and are very excited to be looking to recruit around 50 people in the local area.”

Ruth Edwards, Member of Parliament for Rushcliffe, said:

“It was great to welcome Carefound Home Care to West Bridgford and declare them officially open.”

“Carefound Home Care offers home care services across Rushcliffe and is creating 50 more jobs for the local area, which is fantastic news!”

“I would like to thank Oliver and his team for inviting me along to their new headquarters in the constituency and I want to wish them every success.”
