Carefound Home Care was founded with the aim of providing a highly personalised specialist care service to elderly people, enabling them to continue to live independently in the comfort of their own home whilst maintaining the highest quality of life achievable.

Key to our success is that we are a locally owned and managed organisation with specialist, local teams based in Yorkshire and Cheshire. This enables Carefound Home Care to remain flexible and innovative in meeting the needs of our clients and helps differentiate us from other home care providers, many of whom operate as franchises or part of a national organisation.

Amie Blott

Home Care Coordinator - Cheshire

Aime is Home Care Coordinator for our home care services in Cheshire. She recently worked in the recruitment sector and has previously had over 6 years’ experience in the residential and home care sectors where she became Supervisor at a national care office. Amie has achieved her Level 3 and is working towards her Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care.

Katie Brennan

Home Care Manager - Cheshire

Katie is Home Care Manager for our Cheshire service and has overall responsibility for this. She has extensive experience in the care of elderly people and has also supported younger adults living with neuromuscular conditions. Previously she was Registered Manager for a national private home care provider.  Katie has a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and is registered with the Care Quality Commission.

Lucy Clifton

Senior Home Carer - Yorkshire

Lucy is a Senior Home Carer in our Yorkshire office. She joined our team in 2017 as a Home Carer and quickly progressed to become a Senior Home Carer. Lucy previously worked as an optical consultant in Ripon and Wetherby.

Hayley Gill

Senior Home Carer - Cheshire

Hayley is a Senior Home Carer in our Cheshire office. She joined our team in 2017 as a Home Carer and progressed to become a Senior Home Carer in 2018. Hayley has over 9 years’ experience in the elderly care sector and previously held a senior care role in a residential care environment.  She has achieved her Level 2 & 3 Diplomas in Health and Social Care.

Home Care Coordinator - Yorkshire

Carla is Home Care Coordinator for our Yorkshire service. She joined our team in 2012 and has previously held the roles of Home Carer and Senior Carer. Carla has achieved her Level 2 & 3 Diplomas in Health and Social Care and gained national recognition at the British Care Awards in 2014.

Tina Langshaw

Senior Home Carer - Yorkshire

Tina is a Senior Home Carer in our Yorkshire office. She joined our team in 2014 as a Home Carer and progressed to become a Senior Home Carer in 2015. Tina previously had over 15 years experience in residential care and home care environments and has achieved her Level 2 & 3 Diplomas in Health and Social Care. She was a finalist at the British Care Awards in 2016 and a winner at the Yorkshire Care Awards in 2015.

Lorna Miles

Home Care Manager - Yorkshire

Lorna is Home Care Manager for our Yorkshire service and has overall responsibility for this. She has over 20 years’ experience in the elderly home care sector including supporting a range of complex conditions and has a particular interest in dementia. Lorna has a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, is registered with the Care Quality Commission and is working towards a Level 1 SPECAL Practitioner with the Contented Dementia Trust.

Carol Sherwood

Community & HR Coordinator - Yorkshire

Carol is Community & HR Coordinator for our office in Yorkshire. She works closely with the local community, maintaining close relationships with local health and social care professionals and leading the recruitment and retention of new members of our team. Previously, she worked with a local social care charity where she was responsible for managing elderly home care and supported living services. She also previously worked as a manager in the hospitality industry for Harrogate Borough Council. Carol has a Level 4 NVQ in Management, a City & Guilds Level 2 Induction Award in Care and a Level 3 International Award in Delivering Training.

Claire Spence

Home Care Coordinator - Yorkshire

Claire is Home Care Coordinator for our Yorkshire service. She joined us in 2012 and became part of our care management team in 2013. Prior to this she worked with a national charity focused on helping elderly people and she has a varied experience of working with elderly people in both a residential and community environment. Claire has a BA (Hons) Degree from Northumbria University and a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care.

Oliver Stirk

As Director, Oliver is responsible for ensuring that the Company achieves its aims and objectives and succeeds in providing the highest quality home care service to its clients. He has extensive experience of delivering market leading elderly care services and has had involvement with various companies in the sector including those specialised in developing and operating retirement housing, assisted living facilities and residential care / nursing homes. Oliver is registered with the Care Quality Commission as a Responsible Individual. He has an MA (Hons) Degree from the University of Edinburgh.

Sarah Vickers

Community & HR Coordinator - Cheshire

Sarah is Community & HR Coordinator for our office in Cheshire. She leads the recruitment and retention of new members of our team and works closely with the local community, including maintaining close relationships with local health and social care professionals. Sarah previously worked with a national home care provider in a similar role and also has experience in the specialist recruitment industry. She is fully trained in delivering the national Care Certificate.
