Supporting the Rushcliffe Big Green Book
Tuesday, 03rd December 2024
The Big Green Book is part of the Green Social Prescribing Project in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire and offers a directory of nature-based activities and green spaces within the Rushcliffe area.
The directory is designed to be used by social prescribers and healthcare workers, or individuals themselves, to help them find local nature-based activities that can help them improve mental and physical well-being.
The Rushcliffe Big Green Book is split into North, Central and South Rushcliffe to help people find activities that are local and easily accessible to them. It also outlines the facilities available, and the level of mental health need that each group is able to support.
You can access and download The Big Green Book here. Copies are also available in GP surgeries, libraries and other public buildings throughout the Rushcliffe area.
Shelley Taylor, Recruitment & Community Manager at Carefound Home Care in West Bridgford, commented:
“We are honoured to support The Rushcliffe Big Green Book which is very much aligned with our role as a provider of outstanding home care services in the Rushcliffe area.”
“The directory is a fantastic resource for local healthcare workers, families and individuals, and does a great job of promoting nature-based activities which can help enhance people’s mental and physical well-being.”
