Over £500 raised for Harrogate and District Community Action charity
Wednesday, 20th May 2026
Carefound Home Care has raised £515 for Harrogate and District Community Action (HADCA) after completing the Nidderdale Charity Walk & Run.

The team took part in the event on Sunday 17th May 2026, completing a 15-mile route through upper Nidderdale in support of the local charity. This marks the third year running that Carefound Home Care has taken part in the event.
The money raised will support HADCA’s HELP services, also known as the Harrogate Easier Living Project, which provide practical and emotional support to people across the Harrogate District.
The Nidderdale Charity Walk & Run is a popular community fundraising event organised by the Rotary Club of Harrogate. Starting in Pateley Bridge, the event offers a choice of different routes and raises money for charities across the Harrogate District.

Danielle Ferebee, Recruitment & Community Manager at Carefound Home Care Harrogate, said:
“At Carefound Home Care, supporting the independence of older and vulnerable people is at the heart of everything we do.”
“We’re so proud of everyone who completed the walk, and grateful to everyone who supported us. It was a fantastic opportunity to come together as a team while raising vital funds for HADCA’s HELP services.”
Lizzie Hughes, Development Manager at HADCA, said:
“We are incredibly grateful to the team at Carefound Home Care for taking on the 15-mile route of the Nidderdale Walk in support of our HELP services.”
“Fifteen miles is no small feat, especially up hill and down dale! Their determination, energy and generosity will make a real difference to local people who rely on our HELP services for practical and emotional support during difficult times.”
“We are so thankful not only for the funds they have raised, but for the kindness and community spirit they continue to show to HELP and so many other local charities.”
