Carefound Heroes flip for fun at Macclesfield Pancake Race
Friday, 14th March 2025

At Carefound Home Care, we’re all about community, compassion, and a little bit of fun. That’s why our Wilmslow branch was thrilled to take part in the Macclesfield Pancake Race, hosted by East Cheshire NHS Charity. The event saw plenty of pancake-flipping action. And while we didn’t make it past the first round, our team of Carefound Heroes gave it their all.

The Macclesfield Pancake Race has become a tradition, with 19 teams from all over the region coming together to race, flip pancakes, and support a worthy cause.
While we didn’t win, we were proud to support such a meaningful event, which raised over £900 for the East Cheshire NHS Charity which works tirelessly to improve patient care, fund essential equipment, and make a real difference to the lives of those who need it most.
Hayley Gill, Registered Branch Manager at Carefound Home Care in Wilmslow, said:
“Taking part in the Pancake Race is always great fun! This is the second year the Wilmslow team has taken part, and we are already planning our costumes for next year.”
“A huge thank you to East Cheshire NHS Charity for organising such a fantastic event, and to everyone who supported us along the way and came to cheer us on from the sidelines.”
“It’s wonderful to come together with other local businesses to dress up, have a laugh, and help raise money for a great cause.”
