A lovely morning at Marlborough Court in West Bridgford

Shelley and Lucia from our West Bridgford branch had the pleasure of hosting a delightful morning with the residents of Marlborough Court in West Bridgford.

Marlborough Court is a retirement living community offering independent living for older adults, with the added benefit of on-site support and services. It was a special day where we had the chance to share valuable information and, most importantly, make some meaningful new connections.

The morning began with an informative Carefound Home Care session, where we shared details of our local home care service available to residents including flexible hourly home care and 24-hour live-in care. Whether residents were seeking advice on home care options or simply wanting to learn more, it was lovely to answer their questions and help them feel informed and supported.

But it wasn’t all about the information, we also made sure to have some fun! This included a quiz that sparked laughter and friendly competition among the residents and was a great way for everyone to come together and learn something new.

And, of course, no morning event is complete without some delicious treats! We brought along a selection of cakes and refreshments for the residents of Marlborough Court in West Bridgford to enjoy.

The feedback we received from residents was overwhelmingly positive. Many shared how much they appreciated the information session and the opportunity to connect with others. It was great to know that the day had made a difference, and we left with a sense of fulfilment, knowing that we had formed new, meaningful connections with such a wonderful group of people.
