Carefound Home Care opened in West Bridgford in September 2020 and provides highly personalised home care services to older people across the Nottinghamshire area. Its services range from hourly home care through to full-time live-in care as an alternative to moving into a care home.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspected Carefound Home Care in West Bridgford in April 2022 and found that clients were benefitting from outstanding care.

In particular, CQC inspectors found that the service “was exceptionally well managed” and “staff cared for people in a way that exceeded expectations”. Inspectors also highlighted that there were “high levels of staff satisfaction” and “all felt they could build a meaningful career” with the company being “the best they had ever worked for.”

The full inspection report is available on the CQC’s website here.

Natalie Reed, CQC head of adult social care inspection, said:

“When we inspected Carefound Home Care, we were extremely impressed by the level of support people received and found a service that provided outstanding care to people in their own homes.”

“There was a strong and visible person-centred culture and staff cared for people in a way that exceeded expectations. People, relatives and health and social care professionals praised the approach of staff and commented on the positive impact they had made on people’s lives.”

“The whole team deserve to be congratulated for all their hard work and commitment.”

Carefound Home Care was founded by Oliver Stirk in 2012 and the company has other home care branches in Harrogate and Wilmslow which are also rated Outstanding by the CQC.

Inspectors recognised in their report that Carefound Home Care “has a proven track record of providing exceptional care” and “being a role model to other services”. They also highlighted the company’s use of technology and focus on improving people’s health outcomes and reducing the risk of hospital admissions.
