Cost of hourly home care FAQs
What is the minimum visit length?
Our minimum visit time is 1 hour and clients will often request support for longer periods of time. We do not believe that high quality, personalised care can be delivered over shorter visit lengths.
Is VAT included in the cost of hourly home care?
Our home care services are not subject to VAT and so there are no additional VAT charges on top of our prices.
Is there a fee for assessing my care needs?
There is no fee for our local care management team carrying out an initial assessment of your care needs. However, we do charge a short term assessment fee in the event that your care service is to be delivered for 4 weeks or less.
Will I be charged if I cancel a visit?
We seek to make our service as flexible as possible for our clients ensuring that their needs are met appropriately at all times. In order to cancel our care services we simply ask for 14 days notice.
Is there a cooling off period?
You can change your mind and immediately cancel at any time within the first 14 days of signing your care agreement. If we have already begun providing the services, your only charges will be a short term care assessment fee of £200 and the fees for any care already provided. After the first 14 days, we simply need 14 days’ notice to cancel.
