The team from Carefound Home Care spent Easter week visiting the many families they support in the local area as they delivered chocolate Easter bunnies together with some added ‘Easter cheer’. It presented a great opportunity to pop in and celebrate with local elderly people who may not always have the chance to enjoy Easter with family and friends.

Oliver Stirk, Director of Carefound Home Care, commented: “We support elderly people at home on both an hourly care and full-time live-in care basis. Helping our clients enjoy an active life as part of their local community is a vital part of the service we provide and being able to celebrate special times of the year with them is always a huge pleasure.”

Oliver added: “In addition to basic help in the home and companionship, we also provide specialist support to families experiencing more complex conditions such as dementia and Parkinson’s. Events such as Easter can be a very effective way of triggering positive long-term memories which play an important role in improving the wellbeing of the people we support.”
