Working as a care professional in York
As a professional care assistant in York you’ll support our elderly clients in the local area to continue to live in their own homes with well-being.
If you work as an hourly care assistant you’ll provide visits of a minimum of 1 hour and often longer, or as a live-in carer you’ll live in our clients’ homes on a week on / off rotation basis providing the care and support they need.
Working as a care professional may involve providing companionship and personal care, basic help in the home, shopping and meal preparation support, or delivering specialist care based on training received such as dementia care or medication administration.
